Shree Gita Ginning & Oil Industries was founded in 1976 with immense efforts from Shri Naginkumar Vallabhdas Bhojani.
It was started as a small scale Oil cake manufacturing industry and with the time it prospered to the existing one
of the big names in the Cotton and it’s by products processing industry in Gujarat (INDIA). It is a partnership
company registered under partnership act of India.
Shree Gita Ginning & Oil Industries is a core members of the SOMA (Saurashtra Oil Miller's Association) and CIA
(formerly known as the East India Cotton Association), a partnership company with a long standing reputation in
the edible oils and Agro Processing industry. The business activities include oil refining, Oil Milling, Cotton
Ginning & Pressing, Trading, logistics and warehousing.
In 1976 it started just with a Small Oilseed Crushing capacity unit with a daily capacity of 20 Mt per day. At
that point of time Mr. Naginkumar .Vallabhdasd Bhojani was handling the Roofing tiles unit of the family business
as well. After setting up this unit he came in to its administration in 1982 and in 1989 he was in charge of its
entire operations. Since then he hasn’t looked back.
In 1991 he started the expansion work and the company set up the Cotton Ginning and Pressing Division with and
manual system with a production capacity of 10 Mt. of Cotton Lint on daily basis.
Then In 1993 the oil seed crushing capacity was in creased from 20 Mt. Per day to 50 Mt. Per day.
In 1997 the company again increased its capacity of Oilseed Crushing to 90 Mt. Per day and Ginning Capacity to
30 Mts Per day.
In 2000 Mr. Manish Bhojani (The Elder of the two sons of Mr. Naginkumar Vallabhdas Bhojani) entered the Family
Business after completing his education and he made up a plan to setup an edible oil refining unit for which he
studied the markets for edible oils and its best possible process after which along with Mr. N.V.Bhojani and
joint up with Alfa Laval (India) Ltd, went on to start up the setting up of the Unit which fully started the
commercial production in December 2004.
At the time of the erection of the refinery unit in Mid 2004 Mr. Chetan Bhojani (the younger of the two sons of
Mr. Naginkumar Vallabhdas Bhojani) entered the family business after completing his education in Pune.
Just after completion of the refinery division the trio came up with the decision to entirely atomize the Ginning
and Pressing Division with the latest technology for which they joint up with Bajaj Steel Inductries Ltd to set up
an entire automatic Unit the 1st of its kind in INDIA and which was successfully completed in December 2005 which
had a capacity to produce 100 Mt of Cotton Linter.
